Sadie Hawkins Day

Sadie Hawkins Day, while an American creation by cartoonist Al Capp in 1937, is rooted in the old Irish tradition of "Leap Year Privilege". Legend holds that 5th-century Irishwomen, tired of waiting for slow-moving suitors, were granted the right to propose by St. Patrick, turning the tables on traditional courtship roles every four years.

Rambler is taking this cherished tradition and bringing it to maine with a special night of food, drink and music. Sadie Hawkins is a chance for a fun night out with someone you want to spend time with and who knows, maybe it'll lead to something that you do every year.

61st Annual Clam Fest

It might be the 61st Clam Fest but it's rambler's first so we're going to make the most of it.

You'll have a front row seat to the parade from our front porch where we'll be serving up cocktails and a special menu of clam fest inspired dishes.

In addition to the front porch we'll have a sidewalk ice cream stand serving cups and cones as well as frozen lime rickey's for everyone to enjoy while they make their way through town.

On the back patio we'll have live music and if all goes well a full bar & kitchen serving cocktails, oysters, fresh seafood and small plates at rawbar our new seasonal concept that will be open June-october
